Beginners' LessonsThe Hamilton Contract Bridge Club runs a series of free beginners' lessons each year for new players or players coming back to the game after a time away. The lessons teach the basics of bridge and our successful philosophy is to get you playing the game rather than listening to the tutor speaking for long periods. The lessons series teaches the ACOL bidding system and is based on Paul Marston's book Introduction to Bridge, "arguably the most uncomplicated beginners' book on the market". The book can be purchased from the Club for $20. It is not mandatory but very helpful. At the end of the lessons, or before, we would be very pleased if you joined the Club and continued your playing development. Most people who join the Club start playing on Tuesday evenings in a very friendly and social atmosphere. |

2010 lessons begin on Tuesday 16 March at 7:30pm.
On the first night we will play mini-bridge to give you a taste for the game. The lessons proper will start the following week.
To register or if you have any questions please contact the Club. You will be made most welcome.
