Friday Night bridge has been suspended until further notice due to insufficient support. The interruptions from other events may have contributed to this because people did not get into a habit. We may review this decision. One suggestion is to have an event once a month.
Friday Nights are for relaxed, social bridge for players of all levels and from all clubs. In recent weeks we have tasteful background music to singalong to and we have had speedball.
Start time: 7:30pm, please be seated by 7:25pm
Who is Welcome?
Everyone is welcome.
Players from all levels from juniors to open.
Players from all clubs and even non-club players. We want to encourage
co-operation among the local clubs.
Even if you don't have a partner, please still come. We will pair you up on the night.
Format
Friday nights are informal, social nights. There are no prizes and no formal director. Experienced players will direct from the floor.
We will have a mix of events decided on the night. These could include pairs, teams, rubber and speedball.
Unfortunately licensing laws prevent us opening the bar. You are welcome to bring your own drinks.
Charge
The table charge has been set at $2 per player.
