Over the weekend of 14/15 March, the North Island Teams Championships were held in Hamilton. There was a huge turnout from Akarana - by my count, no less than 40% of the players in the 24 teams competing were members of the club. The winning team was 100% Akarana; many congratulations to Gary Chen, Jeter Liu, Richard Solomon and Jonathan Westoby, North Island Teams Champions 2009!
